Club rules

avenio is a place for people who have plans. To keep it that way, a few rules apply. They are short because they go without saying.

What counts here

• On equal terms. Everyone here pays the same fee for the same thing. Title, revenue and company size change nothing.
• Real details. Name, role and company are accurate. Anyone posing as someone else has no place in the club.
• No means no. No reply means no interest. Nobody has to accept a request or explain why not.
• Confidential stays confidential. What is said in a conversation stays there — unless both sides agree otherwise.

What is not okay here

• Pestering. Repeated messages without a reply, private advances after a no, disrespectful language.
• Mass advertising. The club is not a mailing list. An offer belongs in the market or in a conversation, not in twenty inboxes.
• Requests for money under false pretences. Investment schemes, crypto tips and pyramid schemes have no place here.
• Content that doesn't belong here. Suggestive, insulting or discriminatory content — in messages, profiles and video.

If something happens to you

You have two options, and you owe nobody an explanation:

• Block. After that you can no longer message each other or invite each other to a conversation, and you will no longer be paired. The other person is not notified. You will find the block option on every profile and in every conversation; you can lift it under Security.
• Report. The moderation team looks into the case. The person reported does not learn who reported them. The reported content is saved so it can still be assessed even if it has since been deleted.

What we do

We look at every report. Depending on the case, we speak to the person, remove content or suspend the account. If an account is suspended, invoices and data subject to statutory retention are kept; everything else is governed by our privacy policy.

In serious cases we reserve the right to suspend without prior warning. The annual fee is not refunded in that case — details are in the terms and conditions.
